Beginning Tuesday, April 11, 2023, paper bags will be available for sale at Town Hall for $4.00 per bundle of 5 with a limit of 3 bundles per household.
Public Works will begin picking up leaves in paper bags only and garden brush within the old Town limits, daily Monday to Friday excluding holidays, starting on Monday, April 17, 2023, until Monday, May 29, 2023. Brush and tree branches need to be tied in bundles not exceeding 3 feet in length, 2 feet in diameter and 50 pounds in weight. Leaves in plastic bags will no longer be collected. Please note that after May 29th Public Works will not pick up leaves or garden brush and it will be the responsibility of the property owner to place these items curbside for the regular Thursday garbage collection.
Beginning Monday, April 17, 2023, loose brush and tree branches may be brought to the Town Public Works Yard at 95 Patrick Street and placed in the designated area. Please ensure that all material is free of rope, wire, etc. This service will end on Monday, May 29, 2023, and is not available to large scale or commercial lot clearing.
