By-Law 18-01: A By-Law to Regulate Vehicular Traffic Receives 3rd and Final Reading

The Council of the Town of Saint Andrews, in compliance with Section 15(3) of the Local Governance Act of the Province of New Brunswick, updated the Town’s Vehicular Traffic By-law by updating the By-law that referenced the old Municipalities Act which was Repealed by the Province.

At the January 14, 2019 Regular Council Meeting the following motion was brought forth and carried:

It was moved by Councillor Akagi, seconded by Councillor Bishop that By-Law 18-01, being A By-Law to Regulate Vehicular Traffic in the Town of Saint Andrews be read, by title, for the third time and final time.    Carried   

Mayor Naish read By-law 18-01 by title for a third and final time.

The Town considered the allowance for additional accessible parking spaces, and to provide legislative updates to reference the new Local Governance Act as well as to correct administrative errors.  In so doing, the previous By-Law 94-2, Being a By-Law to Regulate Vehicular Traffic in the Town of Saint Andrews, was repealed.

Once the By-law is signed and sealed, a copy will be uploaded to this website.
