Town of Saint Andrews VOLUNTEER APPRECIATION AWARDS

Each year Mayor Doug Naish, on behalf of the Town of Saint Andrews presents Volunteer Appreciation Awards in six categories.

  • Arts & Culture
  • Community Leadership
  • Business
  • Sport, Recreation & Active Living
  • Environment
  • Volunteer Service
  • Special merit (none of the above categories)

These awards are available to any person, organization or business that has made an exceptional contribution to the Town’s well-being, recently or long term. Nominees need not be Town residents.  Up to two awards are presented in each category annually.

The Town also accepts nominations for a special appreciation award to an individual who does not fall into any of the categories listed below but who has, nevertheless, made a unique long-term contribution to the local community.

Nominations for Volunteer Appreciation Awards can be submitted year-round.  Please use this Form to nominate an individual, group or business that you feel should be considered for a Town of Saint Andrews Volunteer Appreciation Award.

Volunteer Appreciation Awards & Mayor’s Levee Postponed

Mayor Naish has decided that due to unforeseen circumstances the Mayor’s Levee and Volunteer Appreciation Awards that would normally take place on New Year’s Day will be postponed. To ensure that the Mayor and Council as well as Staff can show our Volunteers the appreciation they so deserve, the Award Ceremony will take place on NB Day 2019.
