Public Engagement Questionnaire: Climate Change Adaptation

Eastern Charlotte Waterways has been working in partnership with municipalities in an effort to identify and manage vulnerable areas during exceptional weather events as well as predicted sea level rise over a period of years. They continue to gather valuable information that will hopefully assist municipalities in the preparation for these events.

By-Law Z18-04 Consolidated Zoning Receives 3rd and Final Reading- Jan. 14/19

It was moved by Councillor Bishop, seconded by Councillor Groulx that Zoning By-Law Z18-04, Being a By-Law to repeal and replace Zoning By-Law 10-04, A By-Law of the Town of Saint Andrews Respecting Zoning, and all amendments thereto, including By-Law 13-01, saving and excepting By-Law 15-02, By-Law  Z17-01, By-Law Z17-02, and By-Law Z17-03, be read for a third time and final time.                                                                                 Carried

Mayor Naish read By-law Z18-04 by title for a third and final time

This document will be prepared for the final stage of enactment by being sent to the Department of Environment and Local Government for Ministerial Signature.

Volunteer Appreciation Awards & Mayor’s Levee Postponed

Mayor Naish has decided that due to unforeseen circumstances the Mayor’s Levee and Volunteer Appreciation Awards that would normally take place on New Year’s Day will be postponed. To ensure that the Mayor and Council as well as Staff can show our Volunteers the appreciation they so deserve, the Award Ceremony will take place on NB Day 2019.

Market Square & Market Wharf Concept Plan

On September 25th, 2018 the Town hosted a Public Open House to discuss proposed concepts for the rehabilitation of Market Square and Market Wharf.
