Charlotte County Seniors Resource Centre is helping seniors 60 and over in the Charlotte County and the Fundy Isles. Our role is to guide seniors to access services that are available to help our clients remain in their own homes. There is no fee for any of the services we provide.
What We Do for Seniors:
• Help with applications for Social Development programs including Health Services and
Long-Term Care
• Source Adaptive Equipment Loan Programs
• Provide information on health services such as the Canadian Dental Care Plan, Medical Supplies / Services Program and Hearing Aid Program
• Provide forms for applications such as Low-Income Seniors Benefit and New Brunswick Prescription Drug Plan
• Provide information on aging well and staying active
• Weekly calls are made to seniors who live alone
•Connecting Seniors to our volunteer “Buddies”. Creating and maintaining a connection to the community.
•Help with Senior Isolation Inform seniors of social gatherings and groups.
