The W.C. O’Neill Arena Complex is a multipurpose facility located in the heart of the historic community of St. Andrews-by-the-Sea. The facility has been the centre of community activity and a focal point of Saint Andrews and its citizens since it was built in 1963. The facility is home to ice surfaces to house both skating and curling activities. Numerous community groups use the surface for competitive and recreational leagues, as well as more recently speed skating.
The facility promotes a sense of community in Saint Andrews by offering a wide variety of activities to its citizens, allowing the community to grow together. The W.C. O’Neill Arena Complex is also home to a movie theatre, meeting and convention facilities, St. Andrews Community Channel-CHCO-TV Channel 10, dormitories, the Heather Curling Club, Chamber of Commerce, St. Andrews by-the-Sea Welcome Centre and the Saint Andrews Wellness Centre.
