Canadian musical icon Valdy has been criss-crossing our nation (and around the world) since the early 1970s, 

entertaining & gathering material for new songs and spreading happiness everywhere. 

He doesn’t seem to have lost any of his energy, his voice is still as strong and melodious as ever, 

and he has a wealth of wisdom and stories to share as only he can!

He is most widely known for “Rock and Roll Song”, his first mainstream single. 

Valdy is the winner of two Juno Awards for Folk Singer of the Year and Folk Entertainer of the Year 

and has received seven additional Juno nominations. 

He has 14 albums to his credit, four of them reaching gold status, 

and has toured countless miles across Canada, the US and overseas. 

His music is a compelling mix of material that highlights people, place, emotion and circumstance

 that we all can relate to at some point.

Valdy returns to St Andrews Sunday, October 1^st not only to perform here for the 4^th time, 

but also to retrieve his red corduroy shirt he left behind on his last visit!
