Fire Department

Emergency Plan

Established in 1817, the St. Andrews Fire Department is committed to the safety of our community. We are a team of dedicated Fire/Rescue Volunteers, we aim to provide the public with a rapid response to fire suppression, rescues and assist with medical emergencies to the best of our abilities.

We are a small composite fire department in Southwestern New Brunswick who have one full time member (Chief), and 33 paid on-call volunteers. We run out of one station, with a fleet of two pumpers, a pumper/tanker, mini-rescue, 4×4 utility truck, a rescue side-by-side four-wheeler and a 14-ft. Zodiac. The department averages 80 -100 calls per year.

Volunteering

The St. Andrews Fire Department looks for dedicated people to join the organization. It takes a dedicated and strong individual to fill this role as it is strenuous and demanding.  To learn more about this rewarding volunteer opportunity and a great way to help your community, contact the Chief for further information.
