By-the-Sea Gardeners provides a place for all gardeners in the Saint Andrews area, from beginners to experts, to share their interest in gardening and the environment.
The Club invites specialists to share their knowledge at meetings in September, October, November, March, April and May. An annual plant sale in May raises funds to support the Club’s activities. In addition, at the request of the Town of Saint Andrews, and with their support, the Club maintains plantings at the Cenotaph and the Ann McLay Memorial Garden (at the junction of Harriet, Parr and Reed Streets). From time-to-time tours are planned to gardens and garden centres further afield.
